Robert Leach's headshot

I am a poet and a theatre practitioner. I have published six collections of poetry, as well as pamphlets and chapbooks. I have also published more than a dozen books of theatre history and theatre theory, including the recent two volume History of British Theatre and Performance, published by Routledge.

I know how to read aloud and enjoy especially poetry readings with time for feedback and discussion with audiences. I am a former chair of Borders Writers Forum and am currently chair of Melrose Literary Society. I am also a practiced speaker and lecturer, and I am keen to provide practical workshops, including drama workshops. (Photo credit: Joy Parker)
