Christmas is just around the corner but don't worry if you're struggling for gift ideas. The Scottish Book Trust Early Years team have handpicked some of their favourite gift editions for little ones below.

Whether you're celebrating a new arrival or encourgaging a blossoming young reader, there's something to capture every imagination.

This box set contains four classic Eric Carle stories: The Tiny Seed, Pancakes, Pancakes! A House for Hermit Crab and Rooster's Off to See the World. This is a great selection of stories which are a nice step along from Eric Carle's most famous story, The Hungry Caterpillar.
