Bookbug Book of the Month: Hello Hello
Hello Hello by Brendan Wenzel
Beginning with two cats, one black and one white, a chain of animals appears before the reader, linked together by at least one common trait. From simple colours and shapes to more abstract connections, each encounter celebrates the magnificent diversity of our world.
'The more you see, the more you know. Where to begin? Hello hello!
I fell in love with this book the first time I read it. It’s now one of my firm favourites, and is sure to appeal to younger and older children alike.
This dynamic celebration of the world that surrounds us, in the shape of a bright book with cheerful rhymes, is a joy to look at, and a joy to read out loud. Join some of the planet’s most fascinating inhabitants, including us, on the journey to knowing each other and finding out how much we actually have in common. Learn about new animals, new words, and don’t forget to try to spot who you’ll next say "hello" to.'
