Submit your Story
As part of our annual campaign to get Scotland writing we are asking primary and secondary pupils across the country to create a piece of personal or collaborative writing inspired by the 2018 theme Rebel! We encourage your pupils to either submit a piece of writing based on their own experiences of rebellion or one that is based on stories gathered from older generations.
Get your pupils chatting with their parents, grandparents or residents from your local care home. Ask them to connect with each other and share stories about times when they rebelled. Pupils can write and submit the stories as part of our intergenerational Rebel writing campaign.
Submit your entry online by completing the form linked below:
Images - you have the option to upload a photo or artwork to accompany your piece but please only upload images you have the right to use.
Submitting on behalf of someone else - if you are submitting on behalf of someone else, such as a pupil or young person, please enter your name in the ‘Forename’ and ‘Surname’ fields and their name in the ‘Pseudonym’ field.
Gaelic entries - if you would like to submit your work in Gaelic we offer some editorial support, click here for more info. If you choose to submit a piece in Gaelic we also require an English translation.
What happens next?
Once you have submitted your work it will go through a brief moderation process and will appear on the website.
