E. Lockhart Schools Event

In June 2015 Scottish Book Trust brought YA sensation E. Lockhart to secondary schools in Dundee for a day of very special events.

E. Lockhart is the New York Times best-selling author of the dazzling We Were Liars, a tale of love, loss, youth and family with a secret at it's heart guaranteed to send you straight back to the first page to begin reading all over again.

Scottish Book Trust were absolutely thrilled to bring E. Lockhart to Dundee for her only schools events in Scotland during a whirlwind tour of the UK to promote her latest novel How to be Bad. 

E spoke to pupils at St. John's RC High School and Baldragon Academy about the inspriations behing her novels We Were Liars, How to Be Bad and The Disreputalbe History of Frankie Landau-Banks. She also gave pupils fantastic tips and advice on researching, planning and drafting their own writing. This was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to meet one of the most exciting authors writing for young adults today.
