Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour with Joshua Seigal

In January, the Scottish Friendly Children's Book Tour will bring award-winning performance poet Joshua Seigal to visit schools in North and South Lanarkshire for a wonderful week of events!

So you think you don't like poetry? Joshua Seigal is here to change your mind! He is an award-winning poet, performer and educator who uses poetry to inspire confidence and creativity, aiming to please even the most reluctant poetry reader through hisI Bet I Can make you laugh mixing of riddles, rhythm, rhyme and revelry. He has worked in hundreds of schools, nurseries, libraries, theatres and festivals around the world. 

In this exhilarating event, Joshua will give a fun, interactive poetry performance, giving helpful tips for aspiring poets along the way. He will also discuss his journey and inspirations as a poet, with plenty of time for questions.

This is a fantastic opportunity for your pupils to have fun with rhymes and meet one of the UK’s most exciting rising stars of poetry. 

These events are FULLY FUNDED and all primary schools in North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire are invited to apply.
