Bookbug Primary 1 Family Pack
The family pack is being given to every Primary 1 child in Scotland this Autumn, to help create a lasting link between reading at school and home.
The pack includes:
Three brilliant picture books – All shortlisted for the Scottish Children’s Book Awards 2012. The titles are:
- Jack and the Flumflum Tree by Julia Donaldson and David Roberts
- The Day Louis Got Eaten by John Fardell
- Solomon Crocodile by Catherine Rayner
My Primary 1 Activity Pack – An activity pack filled with fun activities for Primary 1 children and their families to complete together.
A Story in Scots – Explore the Scots language with Jordan’s New Jaiket – a new story written in Scots by Matthew Fitt and illustrated by Ross Collins.

Participate in the Scottish Children's Book Awards
We need all primary 1 children to read the three shortlisted books in their pack and vote for their favourite. A voting slip is included in the activity pack, which should be completed and returned to their teacher or local librarian by Friday 8th February 2013.

These books were gifted in celebration of Book Week Scotland, 26th November – 2nd December.
