Picture Books To Celebrate LGBT History Month (3-7)

Celebrate LGBT History Month with these picture books

LGBT History Month takes place in February each year. At its heart, it’s an opportunity to celebrate LGBT life and culture and to recognise the achievements of LGBT people and communities.

Picture books have a huge role to play in helping little ones understand the world in which they are growing up in, and it's hugely important that the LGBT community are reflected in picture books for young children. Here are 12 books which are great for starting conversations with children about lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender identities.
