Rose Benson, age 18
Her fingers always moved efficiently.
Manically creating sound.
Nails plastered in patchy polish, a reminder of her impatience to let them dry.
Allowing strings to carve chunks of polish and mould blisters on flesh.
Guitars mutter pretty words and she would surrender her fingers' sinew to hear it speak

There was once a guitar who couldn’t play a single note.That was because no one could hold him. The guitar was quite sad and confused, why could no one play him? Well the answer was right in front of him, he was a museum exhibit.
