M.G. Leonard: Dive into The Twitchers

M.G. Leonard, one of the UK's best-loved children's authors, joins us to tell us more about her latest series, The Twitchers. We find out what links detectives and bird watchers, learn about some of the fascinating birds featured in the series, and talk about how the very best thing you can be is yourself. M.G. Leonard also treats us to two fantastic readings – one from Twitch and one from the newest book in the series, Feather.

Start a birding diary! (EXA 2-02a, EXA 2-04a, EXA 2-05a)

After watching the broadcast, start designing your own birding diary, You could use our printable mini book template to create something that will perfectly fit in your school bag or pocket. Now, each time you see a bird you can add it to your diary. Add dates, where you saw it and a drawing if you like.
