Andrew Blair's headshot

I'm a poet, performer, event producer, journalist and podcast maker. I've developed theatre and poetry shows at a grassroots level, involved with every aspect of the productions, and also produced a monthly spoken word podcast. I have previously worked for websites such as Den of Geek and Cultbox, writing features, reviews and interviews that covered major film festivals.

I've featured regularly at nights across Glasgow and Edinburgh (such as Flint & Pitch, Sonnet Youth, and Loud Poets), with my work appearing regularly across Scottish journals. My debut collection - An Intense Young Man at an Open Mic Night - was published in 2017. My pamphlet The R-Pattz Facttz 2020 was published by Speculative Books in, unsurprisingly, 2020.

I have experience in running podcasting workshops (please ask for an extra session if you would like me to mix a podcast for you too) and getting people into the habit of writing.
