I am a full-time teacher who over the years has been widely published in mainly Scottish books, magazines, zines and a plethora of anthologies. In the main I am kent as a Makar or poet but I continue to work on (when not doing the above and karate) short stories and a poetry collection. I am very proud of doing the first tailored poem for a Shotokan karate kata - a world first. This wis in guid Scots.

I had a great time in recent times at the Crambo Jingle in Muirkirk whaur a touched the ethereal presence o an actual fiddle thon Burns huid touched. Most weeks I try and inspire and support ma ain lairners among ither wark in the schuil. I am happy to support schools or festivals if given plenty of notice.
