My main experience is as a poet. Although I have written some poems for children, my work is best suited to older teenagers and adults. I have also enjoyed writing a novel and children's stories, the latter in Shetlandic.
I particularly enjoy doing readings tailored to particular interests and age-groups. If desired these can be analytical. I am happy to work with other creatives, especially musicians and visual artists. I can tailor my approach to small, medium-sized and large audiences. I am less keen on workshops but can lead them.
