I'm a writer and performer who enjoys exploring the absurdities, humour, perversions and delights of everyday life, ranging from the explicit and dark to the poignant and sweet.

I have experience in delivering workshops to adult writers' groups and Advanced Higher pupils working on creative writing portfolios. I also have experience as an editor and have worked with clients from America, India, Qatar, Scotland and England (testimonials available on website).

In addition to my own titles, my fiction has been published in The Scotsman and various anthologies and litzines. I'm particularly interested in character-driven fiction with strong dialogue and have a particular likeness for stories that, although they work well on first reading, have layers and complexities that become more apparent on subsequent readings. Through delivering workshops and working as an editor, I have a drive to help other writers develop their craft and get their work into the lives of their target audiences.
