My name is Donald McKay and my job is chief tin opener and tennis ball launcher to Blaze Dog detective and his hapless assistant Laoch, the most famous Border Collies on the Isle of Skye. I'm also their typist.
In addition, we write a monthly feature article for iScot magazine.
I have experience of story telling for children, and have had a series played out on radio Skye in which I narrate Blazes books.
In addition, I have stage experience and public speaking experience, so am unlikely to suffer from stage fright.
I also work with children here on site on a daily basis and know how to involve them in whatever activities we are doing.
The dogs are of course very well behaved, completely comfortable in crowds, and even trained to pose for photographs.
