I am the ghost-writer, author or co-writer of 20 non-fiction books, covering a variety of genres – from true crime to inspirational real-life memoirs, celebrity autobiographies and biographies.
I have provided the voice for, among others, a Hollywood actress, an Olympic gold medallist, a bomb disposal expert, a former world champion boxer, an undercover cop, a Miami-based money launderer, a Customs investigator and survivors of sex abuse and trauma.
In the process of helping people share their stories, I am required to handle highly sensitive issues with care and compassion and have a qualification in First Aid For Mental Health.
I also have extensive knowledge and experience of the publishing process, having previously found publishers without a third-party agent and co-authored and self-published a hard-backed book into the high street.
As a journalist, I was formerly books editor for a national newspaper, adapting celebrity memoirs and biographies for serialisation. I still work as a books consultant, helping to provide publicity for new titles.
When not writing books, I volunteer for my local RNLI lifeboat station, serving on the crew and as a press officer, producing media content for the station and delivering presentations and talks to children and adults.
