Elisabeth Liffy Kelly's headshot

I am a writer, a teacher, a home educator, and a mum. I have experience in teaching creative writing to a whole range of children and teenagers through being a teacher and now being a freelance tutor. I also have experience of facilitating creative writing experiences for adults for themselves or as part of Continuing Professional Development. I have worked as an Associate Tutor for the University of Edinburgh, a Principal Teacher, and a Lead Reader for Open Book. I am skilled in early literacy development and working with children with additional support needs.

I am particularly passionate about encouraging a love of both reading and writing poetry.

My own publications include Mind Mathematics (HybridDreich March 2021), Carbon (Hedgehog Poetry Press, April 2022), Wild Chamomile (Selcouth Station, March 2022).

I have also had a children’s book published Ivy Elf’s Magical Mission (Stairwell Books, October 2022).
