I write for teenagers and have a particular interest in empowerment and creativity. Teenagers are often portrayed in the media in a negative light, but in my work I write about teenagers working positively to identify and solve problems. They don’t always get things right! I aim to encourage reading and writing and I lead workshops on creative writing, looking at both contemporary and fantasy fiction, and on autobiographical writing.
