I am a former Advocate who now writes crime/mystery novels (eight - all published by Polygon) and have, for many years, spoken to small gatherings in Libraries and to little organisations such as the Women's Institute or Inner Link. Equally, I have appeared at Crime Festivals such as Bloody Scotland and the Edinburgh Book Festival (five times), so I like audiences of all sizes and types.
The Times chose my last novel The End of the Line as “one of the best crime novels to take on holiday”. Karen Slaughter of the Times Crime Club said “Highly original fiction based on true events”.
