Jenny Robertson's headshot

Jenny Robertson has authored around 40 books over wide-ranging subjects including poetry, Bible stories, mental health issues, historical fiction, Scottish-focussed material, and Poland.

Her current books are Wojtek War Hero Bear (9-12), From the Volga to the Clyde (Second World War, Poland, Holocaust-related, 15+), and literary biography From Corsets to Communism (covers Polish 20th century history from 1884-1954). She's currently seeking a publisher for MG novel set in Eastern Poland in 1920.

Jenny can give talks in Polish and English, lead writing workshops or mentor. She speaks at schools and other events and has given readings in prisons. Her own experience of schizophrenia in the family give her an insight into mental health needs and the needs of carers. (Photo credit: Euan Stewart)
