Jim Carruth is an award winning poet and was appointed as Poet Laureate of Glasgow in 2014. His first book Killochries was shortlisted for the Saltire Society Scottish Poetry Book of the year, the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry Prize and Fenton Aldeburgh Prize. His most recent collections are Black Cart and Blake Fire. He is an impressive reader of his own work.
