John Hudson's headshot

John Hudson is an enthusiastic, self-motivated poet and writer, and has worked an editor, critic, installation artist, film maker, screenplay writer and dramatist, arts commentator, events organiser, extra-mural lecturer, and arts and economic development consultant for the past 30 years.

He writes in English, Scots and French. He has received awards and bursaries and undertaken residencies in Scotland, Ireland and France. He is currently exploring the themes of solitude, ageing and the natural world and its cycles through poetry and philosophy while he remains actively engaged with the international community around ideas of libraries and information.
