Kate McLelland's headshot

For as long as she can remember, Kate McLelland has loved drawing and painting. Outdoor holidays with her family inspired hours of doodling animals and nature. She has illustrated many books, including Blackbird, Blackbird, What Do You Do? (Hodder Children's Books), What's Below? (Egmont) and There Was a Wee Lassie that Swallowed a Midgie (Floris Books). Kate's work mainly explores themes surrounding nature, friendship, creativity and belonging.
