I've worked as a journalist for over 20 years and my first novel Moristoun dealed with the taboo topic of suicide. I have delivered talks about literature's role in tackling the taboo of suicide and how it helps to break the surrounding stigma. The talks also touch on my experiences working with the suicide prevention society Chris's House since the publication of Moristoun.
I can also hold workshops and deliver talks about editing, as I have 20 years' experience of copy editing at newspapers and have also edited some books.
