Kirstin Innes's first novel Fishnet won The Guardian's Not The Booker Prize in 2015, will be published in the US by Simon & Schuster's Scout Press in summer 2019, and is currently in development for television with STV. Her second novel Scabby Queen will be published by 4th Estate in 2020, and she is currently developing a play with the National Theatre of Scotland.
An experienced performer and workshop facilitator, she can deliver events on a range of topics and aspects of writing craft. Kirstin set up the live literature night Words Per Minute, and is also an award-winning journalist.
