I'm an award-winning, widely-published writer of two novels, three story collections, a short memoir, and a flash fiction chapbook. I frequently collaborate with musicians, visual artists and filmmakers on new projects. I am a regular contributor to BBC radio with fiction, poetry and reviews. I also work as a mentor, editor and book reviewer, and have previously been a literary editor and columnist. I have performed my work at festivals and events all over the world, and often travel to give workshops and guest lectures. (Photo credit: Simone Falk)
