Poetry busking (writing improvised poems for passers-by on the street using an antique typewriter) is a large part of my creative practice. I have taken part in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival via Virgin Money Street Events, and have performed at events for The Royal Bank of Scotland, Caorunn Gin, and numerous others.
Beyond poetry busking, I run a small press, and organise an alternative writing retreat with a focus on place-based literature. My short fiction has been published in literary magazines and anthologies, and I've won the Manchester Fiction Prize and the Bare Fiction Prize.
