My book Love Letters from a Desert Rat was published in 2008 and became a World War Two bestseller. Since that time I have given talks based on my parents' story with great success.

I was asked to deliver more talks, so now I deliver then on amazing women from different eras (e.g. Eleanor Roosevelt, Elsie Inglis, Isabella Elder, Isobel Wylie Hutchison and the women of the Devil's Porridge munitions factory).

Comments received include:

"An excellent talk…enthusiastic, engaged with the audience and you shared your knowledge in an easy to understand way, making it seem effortless."

"What an enlightening talk…one of the best speakers we have ever had."

"…a wonderful evening of entertainment…truly enjoyed by all and you have a special talent in delivering it so well."
