Malcolm Archibald's headshot

I am a writer of mainly historical-based books. My non-fiction focuses on the Scottish whaling industry, while my fiction is wider based, with Victorian military novels, historical-based fantasy and Victorian crime.

I have given talks on Scottish whaling in many venues, from the Museum in Stornoway to Cambridge University, Montrose Museum and libraries across Eastern Scotland. I have also spoken on Victorian Crime in Liverpool University, various places in northern Scotland and in Dundee.
