I am an author with three contemporary thrillers on the shelves of Waterstones, all of which have featured in Blackwells' bestseller charts. I was previously a specialist in Disaster Recovery and Technology Project Management.

I am also a professional freelance editor, copywriter, writer of articles and short stories, and a Core Editor for Cornerstones Literary Consultancy, among others. I provide detailed manuscript assessment, editorial advice, classroom lecturing, personal coaching and 1-2-1 mentoring whether in person or Facetime/Skype.

I have appeared at literary festivals across Scotland and the international Thrillerfest in New York. I have also featured in Book Week Scotland and #ScotLitFest. All of my work has been featured in the monthly international Scots Magazine (circ. 260,000), plus the national press.

I appear in “Four Blokes in Search of a Plot”, a live writing event which has toured the country, where we construct a crime story with the audience. 2020 appearances include “Four Blokes Do Spain” in Javea and the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

I am represented by Jon Wood of Rogers, Coleridge & White.
