As an established non-fiction author I have been commissioned by a range of leading publishing houses including Birlinn, Mainstream/Random House, Black and White and Pitch Publishing. With a backlist of 18 titles, primarily in sport and biography, it has been a privilege to work closely with some of Scottish football’s most interesting characters to chart the stories behind the headlines.

As a former journalist, my experience includes serving as a panel guest on national radio as well as hosting literary festival discussion events, workshops in schools and other settings (including prison sessions) and as an ‘in conversation’ guest. From the Wigtown Book Festival and Dundee Literary Festival to local events, subjects range from the art of ghost-writing to the journey of a book from proposal to publication.

Titles include Tougher Than Bullets – with Harold Davis; Shooting Star – with Colin Stein; Football in the Blood – with Tommy McLean; Gothenburg Glory – Aberdeen’s European triumph; Tannadice Idols; Aberdeen – A Dons who’s who; Aye Ready – Rangers war heroes; For Richer, For Poorer; Heist – the story of Scotland’s most notorious raids.
