Peter Kerr's headshot

Peter Kerr is the bestselling travel writer of titles including Snowball Oranges, One Mallorcan Summer, Viva Mallorca! and A Basketful of Snowflakes - his acclaimed Mallorcan-based books. The inspiration from his Spanish books comes from his own experience; when the recession of the 1980s hit he threw in the towel as a farmer of barley and beef cattle in Scotland and moved his family to Mallorca to take on a run-down orange farm - something that he knew nothing about. Other titles include historical novel Song of the Eight Winds, non-fiction book Don't Call Me Clyde! Jazz Journey of a Sixties Stomper, humourous Highland caper The Other Monarch of the Glen, the fantasy adventure Goblin Hall and The Bob Burns Investigates trilogy of humour-laced mysteries. In JEN - A Border Collie's Tale', an old farm dog looks back on her life.

Peter is available for lighthearted talks and readings. He has performed at book and arts festivals, libraries and more throughout the UK and beyond.
