I have been working as a children's author and illustrator for 25 years, have published over 130 books and have spoken to countless children at events across the world. My preferred age group is P2 (6-8 years old) but I also do talks for older children up to age 10 years old at schools and book festivals.
Events include live drawing, readings, facts about being an author/illustrator and how books are made, a Q&A, drawing for the kids and general shenanigans. I also do adult talks about my career in children's books and talks about how to get started for illustration students. Available nationwide but if lengthy travel is involved I would ask to do more than one session. (Photo credit: Chris Close)
