Sarah Lippett is an artist and author based in Edinburgh. Her autobiographical publications A Puff of Smoke (Jonathan Cape, 2019) and Stan and Nan (Jonathan Cape, 2016) raise important topics around the health system and family relationships. Alongside her long form works, she creates socio-political reportage comics focused on the stories of diverse communities. She lectures in Illustration at the University of Edinburgh and delivers storytelling talks and workshops both in the UK and abroad.
