"Your events were amazing! You engaged the pupils and appealed to their sense of humour. Your energy and enthusiasm filled the hall.”Head of Literacy, Omagh Primary School

Full-time children's author since 2012 with nine books published, I have performed at 3,000 schools, libraries and book festivals around Britain, Ireland, India, Middle East, Hong Kong, Spain and Australia.

My book events are exciting, entertaining and educational, designed to promote literacy, learning and laughter; engaging and inspiring children, especially boys and reluctant readers, to want to love reading.

Creative writing workshops are also available, designed to inspire young writers to capture and craft their story ideas, examining story formats with genres, plotting, creating characters, powerful openers, strong descriptions and settings.
40+ writing exercises/activities are also provided to every school.

My 7th book was awarded silver medal at the Wishing Shelf Book Awards, and my debut novel took Silver Seal at the Forward National Literature Awards.
I also received an Enterprise in Education Champion prize from Falkirk District Council.

"Simply the best author performance I have EVER seen in 15 years of teaching… the best by a long mile." - Headteacher, St Mary's Primary School, Blackburn
