KLEO (Kinross-shire Local Events Organisation) and Loch Leven Community Library are delighted that Freya North is coming to Kinross as part of the Kinross-shire Winter Festival.

Join Freya North for an illustrated talk on an insider’s view on the publishing process – and the ins-and-outs of an author’s life on Thursday 21 November, 7pm at Loch Leven Community Library.

With a career spanning 28 years, Freya North is one of the UK’s best loved authors of contemporary family drama. She has written 16 bestselling novels including the award-winning Pillow Talk and the critically-acclaimed Sunday Times bestseller Little Wing (2022), which is set in Harris. Her new novel The Unfinished Business of Eadie Browne is out now. Freya holds degrees in Art History from the University of Manchester and the Courtauld Institute. She founded and ran the Hertford Children’s Book Festival, has judged the Costa Book Awards and is a patron of the Society of Women Writers and Journalists. She is also an ambassador for Bowel Cancer UK.

This event is supported by Book Week Scotland 2024 event funding.
