What sounds help lift our mood? Birdsong in the morning, a favourite anthem from our youth or the cackle of laughter among friends. In difficult times how and where do we find hope? Using poetry as a springboard for our own writing this session will explore how our sense of sound can bring us hope and joy.

Join Open Book Lead Reader Aoife Lyall for a creative writing session on 'Hearing Hope'!

This is one in a series of four workshops being run by Open Book. We kindly ask that you only sign up for one of the four sessions to give as many people the chance to attend as possible.

This event is supported by Book Week Scotland 2024 event funding.
