In this relaxed workshop, we will explore a series of writing exercises around friendships.

Friendships are relationships that can define our lives, providing support, love and joy, but often they aren't celebrated in art or written about as much as romantic love. This workshop will provide a chance to think about what makes friendships tick, how they're made and how they survive and flourish longer term. There will be an option to write from your own experiences or using your own characters.

At the end of the workshop, you will have tried a series of exercises and hopefully have new writing and thoughts to continue with in your own time. The workshop will be informal and there will be a break in the middle.

This workshop is suitable for anyone interested in writing creatively of any level of experience. The workshop is mostly aimed at writing prose (fiction and non-fiction) but writers of poetry are welcome too!

Please contact the event organiser for booking information.
