Join us for a cosy evening of storytelling at Lanark Library! Local folklorist Allison Galbraith will share her journey to gather stories for the Clan Galbraith Gathering. Bring a cherished photo or object and share a tale from your own family! This is a wonderful opportunity to connect, reminisce and share stories. Let’s celebrate our heritage together and foster a love for storytelling!

Our Reference Librarian will offer a free session on Friday 22nd on how to research family history for those interested.

This event has been made possible due to the Scottish International Storytelling Festival’s Big Scottish Story Ripple initiative. The Scottish International Storytelling Festival (SISF) is organised by Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland (TRACS) and the Big Scottish story Ripple is supported by The Scottish Storytelling Forum.

Please contact the event organiser for booking information.

This event is supported by Book Week Scotland 2024 event funding.
