As part of the Little Art Hub programme 'Seeds of Hope' for Book Week Scotland 2024, artist Ann Louise Kieran will lead this gorgeous creative workshop, guiding participants through a process of sketchbook-making. Using experimental mark-making with inks (and other drawing materials) and natural materials/tools, everybody can make their own book with a variety of off-cut paper stock.

With sensitivity, we will explore the broad theme of 'hope' with regard to the passage of time (in gardening terms: everything having it's season) through creative writing exercises which specifically address our individual and collective experiences. No creative know-how necessary - just bring yourself and an apron! All materials & refreshments will be provided. 8 places

We provide 4 x free places for those on low income and welcome anyone who feels they need to take up this offer. We offer 4 x places by donation––you are invited to give as much or as little as you wish.

This event is supported by Book Week Scotland 2024 event funding.
