StAnza, “the country’s leading poetry festival”, are teaming up with Hame-ish Arts to put on this special event, which will see award-winning Angus poet John Glenday joined by musician Robyn Smith and a series of local performers all collaborating to bring you a warm evening of entertainment.
John Glenday is one of Scotland’s most decorated poets, winning and being shortlisted for prestigious national and international prizes. He lives in Carnoustie, and his work is enjoyed all around the world.
Robyn Smith is an up-and-coming singer-songwriter from Dunfermline. She performs Americana-inspired folk and country music. The event at Lochgelly will be her first live performance since the release of her new single ‘Annie’.
Book Week Scotland has free short books to give away to audience members, containing new writing based on the theme of Hope.
