Out of reach, or close at hand?

Future:
I want one.

Future:
Feels like it's on hold, for most of us; too far away to see what will be, beyond Covid-19.

Past:
Already seems so long ago since life was busy, filled with people and events. But it has only been, been and gone, for a few days.

Present:
How quickly we adapt to the new 'normal'; what day of the week is it? Time seems to be stretching out so slowly.

Present:
There's a rainbow outside. Evanescent, yes, I can't touch it, but it's definitely there.

Future:
It's just beyond my hands; I'm reaching out to it. The next second, the next minute - those will be our future too.
