Unchanging Beacon

Hope

Intangible yet ever so existent

Physically untouchable yet within reach

My eyes look up to the sky, searching

Searching for a way out

A way through

For more strength out of struggle

For more relief out of this pain

For more healing from suffering and seeming defeat

For more comfort and trust in this chaos

For more acceptance, compassion, love out of this separation and hatred.

These wars.

Where does this internalized pain go when it has nowhere to be communicated, thus released?

As collective hurt, anger, depression, anxiety, loneliness, disease, turmoil – suffering – into the world.

Because we have not learned how to be with our own self, in all of our entirety. Lovingly. Peacefully. Tenderly.

It sits inside of each of us until we are ready to face, hold and look at it with the utmost compassion and love, the way it has been waiting, longing to be.

And deserves to be. It's a part of you and I. Every part of ourselves deserves to be seen.

But not of our own doing.

Only He could do the unthinkable.

Unravel, patiently, by your side.
