The Hello Song (Makaton)

Try singing this to your baby when they wake up. You could use your wee one’s name, changing the words to ‘Hello… [baby's name] let’s have fun and play’

Use this as circle time when children arrive at nursery or playgroup. You could also sing hello to parents as they arrive to pick their child up.

Sing slowly and clearly so children can join in the singing and some actions and signs with you. It's a lot to co-ordinate so give them plenty of time to join in!
