Book of the Month giveaways
Each month, we give away exciting titles for adults, babies and toddlers, and children and teens. Just answer one simple question for the chance to win a copy of our latest Book of the Month.
Write a story in 50 words or less on this month's prompt, for the chance to be published online and win prizes. We accept stories in English, Scots and Gaelic from adults and young writers (5–18).
In this annual writing opportunity, we publish true stories written by people across Scotland online and in an anthology. Send us a story from your life on the theme of 'friendship'.
In May, we're running a special writing project that combines our monthly 50 Word Fiction competition and our annual call for Scotland's Stories, which this year focuses on the theme of friendship.
