50 Word Non-Fiction: Scotland's Stories of Friendship
Can you write a story of friendship in just 50 words?

In May, we're running a very special writing project that combines our monthly 50 Word Fiction competition and our annual call for Scotland's Stories, which this year focuses on the theme of friendship.
We're asking people in Scotland to send us a 50-word non-fiction story about their real-life experiences of friendship.
Write a 50 word story of friendship
When you think of friendship, where does it take you?
To childhood memories? To the people that allowed you to be you? To the person who was there for you when you needed them most?
To find inspiration on the theme and to find writing prompts, visit our About Scotland's Stories page.
Our 50 Word Fiction competition is also running as usual in May – head over to this month's competition page to find out more.
