Creative writing activities for upper primary

The activities in this resource are designed to use a favourite author as a starting point for individual, paired and group work. Activities include:

• Author research and profile creation (estimated time: 1-2 hours)
• Character creation (estimated time: 1-2 hours)
• Sharing stories (estimated time: 30-40mins)
• DIY kamishibai (estimated time: 2 hours)

Note: Kamishibai is a Japanese storytelling technique.
