Choose a book with our cross-curricular learning resources

This webpage gathers all the learning resources that we have for specific books, categorised by what Curriculum for Excellence level we think they’re suitable for.
These engaging cross-curricular activities can be used to spark whole-term projects around class novels or as inspiration for ways to bring a book to life in daily story time. They can be used for transition projects and even whole school inter-disciplinary learning.
All the activities suggested are coded to the curriculum to help with planning. For a more thorough breakdown of each text and a link to the resource, see the downloads at the end of this webpage.
As with all our resources, we suggest you read the text before using it with your class and use your own best judgment about whether it’s suitable for the children you work with.
